Nothing beats a traditional parade, and fireworks display to celebrate the 4th of July, and this year the Vail America Day celebrations are back! Starting in the morning, you and your family are invited to come along and enjoy the traditional Vail America Day Parade. If you’re still there in the evening, you can also celebrate a fantastic fireworks display.

The Vail 4th of July Parade and America Day Celebration
If you live near Vail, Colorado, or you’re planning on being there on the 4th of July, then you can’t afford not to check out the traditional America Day Parade. The day will begin with a traditional parade through the city and finish up with an amazing fireworks display.

Where Can I Watch the America Day Parade From?
The America Day Parade will travel through Lionshead Village and Vail Village via Hanson Ranch Road, Bridge Street, Gore Drive, Willow Bridge Road, East Meadow Drive, and the Lionshead Village Mall.
It’s recommended that you arrive early if you want to get a good parking spot along the route. The areas inside the village are always the busiest spot, but if you arrive late, then finding a place along the road between Vail Village and Lionshead Village is usually easier.

What’s the Best Way to Get to Vail to See the Parade?
If you don’t have a car, you can always utilize public transportation. Both Bustang and Pegasus have buses that will take you from Denver Union Station or Denver Federal Center in Lakewood and drop you off at the Vail Transportation Center in Vail Village.
Once you arrive in Vail, you’ll be able to take advantage of the Free Town of Vail Bus or a Shift Bike (shift-bike.com) to get around town and enjoy the celebrations.
