Summer in Vail is always a fun time, filled with more activities than most even know about. The Vail America Days is a great family activity to celebrate the 4th of July. Not limited to just one day of fun there is nearly an entire week of activities including the Vail Lacrosse Shootout, Vail Jazz concerts, the last day of the Vail Arts Festival, and the start of the Vail Bluegrass Series, all culminating with celebrations on the 4th starting with a Pancake Breakfast followed by the America Days Parade through Vail, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra doing a Patriotic concert at 2:00PM and ending with Fireworks at dusk. If you have any energy left on Sunday July 5th get out and see the Vail Farmers Market and maybe get in a trail race with the La Sportiva Hill Climb Race. Phew, we need a nap just thinking about all of this. Get rested and have your camera ready to capture some amazing sights and sounds around Vail during the first week of July. Follow us on Instagram to share all your adventures with us. If you need us we’ll be lounging on the restaurants patio taking a break with a Mimosa!
