Skuna Bay Salmon at La Tour

Pictured: La Tour’s Skuna Bay Salmon

Did you know it takes 3 to 4 years to rear the perfect craft-raised salmon? Skuna Bay salmon is reared in one place and one place only – the ocean. A perfect Skuna Bay salmon has silver scales, red gills, a thick muscular belly, no blemishes and an always firm and thick texture. It has a mild taste, and is tender and buttery.

The glacier fed ocean waters of Skuna Bay are ideal for raising the perfect salmon. For that reason, the coast off of Vancouver Island has become synonymous with the world’s best. At La Tour, we take pride in using the highest quality ingredients and are proud to serve Skuna Bay salmon

We prepare our salmon with a sweet soy glaze, pork belly, peanuts, brussel sprouts, mushrooms, shishito peppers and lemongrass vinaigrette.
