Vail goes pink for Pink Vail, the world’s biggest ski day to fight cancer!
On April 5, 2014 hundreds of very pink participants will come together on Vail Mountain to commemorate our united fight against cancer. The event was started in 2012 as a fundraising event to support breast cancer and has since grown and expanded to include all cancers and anyone touched by the disease.
The inaugural year of Pink Vail was hugely successful with over 600 participants. In 2013, the event nearly doubled with 1,319 participants. This year, Pink Vail is hoping to reach 2,000 participants.
Hop on the bandwagon! To get involved you can register solo or as a team, donate to teams and individuals who are already registered, or donate to the event in general. Pink Vail is unique in that 100% of the proceeds stay local, benefiting patient care and survivorship programs at Shaw Regional Cancer Center.
